We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Yardworks Festival team in 2026. This is a great opportunity to get involved behind the scenes of one of Europe’s leading street art festivals, supporting events, creative workshops, and community activity. Volunteers will receive training and have access to progression routes into future Yardworks projects, with opportunities tailored to individual interests and availability. Whether you're passionate about the arts, looking to build experience, or just want to be part of something exciting in your community, we’d love to hear from you. No experience needed — just a positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
Artist Commissions
Yardworks at SWG3 is commissioning two new site-responsive public artworks as part of our ongoing work to transform Glasgow Riverside Innovation District through creative placemaking. These commissions will be delivered in partnership with local communities in Govan, Yorkhill and Partick, with final artworks forming part of the growing Outside the Boxstreet art trail.
We are seeking proposals from artists or collectives with experience in community engagement and a passion for producing meaningful, high-quality public art.
